Our Philosophy is at the heart of our program.
The goal of our program is to ensure the development of the whole child: to promote his/her social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. We know that until people feel good about themselves, they cannot learn and develop to their full potential. Therefore, as a teacher it is my goal to help nurture and contribute to his/her feelings of adequacy and self worth.
We believe that each child should have the opportunity to develop his/her own abilities in a warm , accepting environment, which stimulates creative, emotional, social, intellectual and physical growth. Play is central to children’s learning. Our play-based program provides opportunities that stimulate a child’s natural curiosity and his/her eagerness to learn. Play is a way for young children to add to their knowledge, learn new skills and practice familiar ones.
AT THE LEARNING TREE PRE-SCHOOL we provide unstructured and structured situations in which your child observes, discovers, reasons and solves problems. We want to create an atmosphere that will develop a love and enthusiasm for school.
